SALLY MITCHELL

Born in New Zealand, Sold my first painting when 9 years old. I won a school Art Prize and studied at the Canterbury College School of Art.
Worked in Architecture in New Zealand, and then in London. UK
Since living in Australia I have loved painting the light and colours of the Landscape, animals, birds and flowers.
In 1973 I won a prize in the BP Art Exhibition.
In 1991 I joined an Art group at the Atwell Gallery and sold pictures in their Art Exhibitions.
Also for Rotary, Rockingham Art Award, Penguin Is. Cafe, Fremantle Woolstores, Mosman Park Art Award, Cossack Art Award, Albany Art Award, Camberwell Rotary Melbourne, Harvey and Beverly Art Prize.
2002 teaching from home.
2012 - 2018 Have created Videos on YouTube
Created Books with Blurb Books Australia, and Snapfish.
2017 sold painting to London, 2 paintings to New Zealand, and dog portrait commissions.
2018 Sold 12 paintings on eBay and 20 private sales.
2019 to July. Sold 17 pictures on eBay and 10 privately.
2020 Completed 34 pictures with all sold.
